The Kyrgyzstan Project
The Kyrgyzstan Project is a short film that was shot in August of 2011 in the Ak Su Valley of Kyrgyzstan. The film follows climbers Eric DeCaria, Matt Segal and climber/videographer John Dickey as they leave their comfortable lives in Boulder CO and travel to the remote alpine rock mecca of Kyrgyzstan. The film takes a contemplative look at these three characters on both their physical and emotional journey in attempt to see why these adventurers choose to do what they do.
